About Us
With a background spanning more than ten years as an independent researcher and collector of fine art, my focus is centred on Early and Modern Australian Art, together with selected international works.
Our commitment lies in the discovery, preservation, and documentation of overlooked artworks that have yet to receive appropriate acknowledgement. Many works within the collection have been acquired through direct transactions involving dealers, private collectors, word of mouth, and deceased estates alike, often accompanied by limited documentation and fragmented provenance histories.
We aim to identify and further research overlooked works through collaboration with industry experts, cultural conservation bodies, scholarly authors, catalogue raisonné committees, institutional archives, and other recognised authorities within the field.
All works are subject to regular updates as new information and research findings emerge. We are committed to conducting thorough and ongoing research into the authenticity, provenance, and historical significance of all works held within the collection. Should any artwork be determined to be misattributed, incorrectly catalogued, or identified as a forgery, it will be removed from active listings and recorded accordingly. Furthermore, we are endeavouring to compile a reference database of known misattributed works and disputed attributions for research purposes.
Many works within the collection are available for acquisition. Given the nature of the collection, some artworks may have limited provenance records, uncertain attribution histories, or incomplete documentation. Research is ongoing, and all information presented reflects the best available knowledge at the time of publication. Details relating to provenance, attribution, and authenticity are updated as new information becomes available.
We welcome information from members of the public who may have knowledge relating to any artwork within the collection. This may include provenance details, exhibition histories, archival material, family connections, photographic records, literature references, or any other information that may assist in expanding the historical record. If you believe you can contribute to the research of any work listed, we encourage you to contact us.
We also welcome enquiries from public institutions, museums, galleries, universities, researchers, catalogue raisonné authors, and independent scholars who may have an academic or curatorial interest in works held within the collection. Selected works may be made available for examination, research, publication consideration, exhibition, or institutional loan, subject to availability and appropriate arrangements.
We believe that the ongoing documentation of art history is a collaborative endeavour and welcome opportunities to contribute to scholarly research, catalogue projects, exhibitions, and public collections..
