Description:

This artwork by Sir William Dobell was acquired from Dr. James Gleeson in Sydney in 1999. Dr. Gleeson, a friend and biographer of Dobell, mentioned that the painting was created in London in 1930 and is believed to be of Dobell's hairdresser. Interestingly, it is speculated that this piece could be a self-portrait of the artist.

Additionally, this artwork does not exhibit fluorescence under UV light. More comprehensive research is currently ongoing and will be included shortly.
